The town, ports and canals

Marinas and cruising ports

Marina, my sweet home ...

Come and appreciate Sète and its canals (also known as little "Venice") and its 300 sunny days per year.

480 mooring rings

Already famous for its nautical traditions, its sailing competitions and its numerous participations in the America's Cup, Sète is the only deep water port between Marseille and Barcelone.

The marina welcomes big boats (more than 18 meters long) and is equipped with 480 mooring rings between "the port des Quilles" and the St Louis breakwater.

Sète, a port for cruise liners

Sète has 3 different harbours and is a stop over for many different cruising ships, container ships, from the small Mediterranean boat to the giant Panamax.
Piloting, towing, fuelling... are the some of the operations done at the "Quai d'Honneur" ("Quai d'Alger") and in the "Gare maritime du Maroc".

People crowd along the canal to admire the disembarcation of passengers from these enormous cruising ships, sometimes bigger than the surrounding buildings!
