Sète's twelve km of fine sandy beaches offer you happy sun bathing, beach games and bathing. You can also enjoy its beach bars and restaurants with friends.

 

The Lazaret beach and Corniche beach are the nearest from the city center.

The Villeroy beach has several beach bars and extends to Marseillan-Plage.

These beaches have recently been widened by about 100 meters and offer an exceptional view on the sea.

The 12 km sea shore stretches nearly as far as Marseillan Plage.

You can lie in the sun, just behind fine sand dunes which are held back by wooden stakes.

Free car-parks and turning points are available on the national road n°112 so you can easily find a place to stop.


Play on the beach

The Lazaret Beach is named after the nearby located holiday center "Le Lazaret".

This sheltered beach, protected by sea walls, enables toddlers to paddle safely around in shallow water.

This beach is near the city centre, accessible by bus or by foot for those who enjoy walking along the coast...

The Corniche beach became famous through one of Georges Brassens'songs in which he indicated he wanted to be buried on this beach.

Children games, restaurants and bars are nearby.

 Beach pubs and restaurants
